Hardcover Inside Flap Copy:
In The Wedding Planner’s Secret, Molly Harrington never expected murder to crash the Chamber of Commerce gala. But when Molly and her coroner friend Rick discover wedding planner Brandi Wrocklage dead in the country club's rose garden, her calm life running the Harrington House Bed-and-Breakfast is upended, and she's driven to uncover the truth.
As Detective Tony Shannon leads the investigation, Molly finds herself drawn into Brandi’s tangled world of secret clients, suspicious finances, and a cosplay-themed wedding with a guest list no one wants to talk about.  The arrival of antique dealer Connor Wentworth raises suspicions with a mysterious connection to a local bar owner.
The deeper Molly digs, the more danger she uncovers—and the more she finds herself leaning on Tony, whose protective instincts reveal a tenderness Molly hasn’t felt in years.
Threatening texts, a dark muscle car, and a violent attack leave Molly shaken but resolute. With help from her ghostly great-aunt Elnora and a circle of loyal friends, she uncovers a hidden ledger, a secret room, and a connection that could expose a killer.
As romance blossoms and secrets unravel, Molly must decide how much she’s willing to risk—for the truth, and for a second chance at love.
The Wedding Planner’s Secret is an engaging blend of mystery, romance, and a touch of the paranormal. It’s a cozy whodunit that will keep you turning the pages until the very end.

My friend and fellow author, Martha Reed, did a blurb that is featured on the back flap of the hardcover edition. Martha's third book in The Crescent City NOLA series is due out very soon.

Teresa Michael gives us another delightful cozy winner with The Wedding Planner’s Secret, the second installment in her Harrington House Mysteries series. Molly Harrington is busily managing her charming small town Ohio B&B when she discovers a corpse in the rose garden at Rolling Hills Country Club’s special event. Was it simply an unfortunate accident or was this person killed? And if so, why? Cozy mystery fans who like classic country house-style whodunnits (think Agatha Christie) with a sprinkling of heartfelt romance and plenty of intriguing suspects and even an enchanting ghost will love this book.

I don’t have a publication date, but the publisher, Palmetto Publishing, will have that soon. Stay tuned.

Bouchercon is September 3rd to 7th in New Orleans. I am excited about seeing old friends and meeting some of my favorite authors (Michael Connelly is a guest of honor!). I’m moderating a panel discussion on Friday September 5th titled "Romance in Crime Fiction" with Mary Dixie Carter, Celeste Connally, Jenny Dandy, Charlaine Harris, and Jenny Milchman. I’ve been busy reading their books and preparing for our discussion. It will be a fun panel!

Here in Florida, it’s been very hot and now we’re in hurricane season already! Please stay cool, stay safe, and enjoy the upcoming Labor Day weekend.
Until next time -- a butterfly!
If you have a moment and liked my books, please leave a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads. Authors depend on reviews to get the word out about their books. It doesn’t have to be long—just a sentence or two, which is greatly appreciated.
