WIP (Work in Progress)
Murder in the Terrace Room --- It's finished!

Two of my favorite words to write are “The End.”  The book is finished and in the hands of the beta readers. So far I’ve received good comments – “I truly love this one! Ghosts, old houses, secrets, and saucy family history – sounds like it was taken from my family history.”
The question is what’s next?  Should I work on book 2 of the Harrington House Mysteries or should I work on book 5 of the Mariposa Café Mysteries?  Let me know what you think!  I’d love to know where you think I should go next.

What Else Have I Been Up To?

I recently went on a Disney cruise to Mexico with my daughters and granddaughters. I had a great time with Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and their Marvel friends, like Thor. One thing I really liked about the Disney cruise is that we rotated themed dining rooms, and our serving staff went right along with us. There was even a pirate night with a deck party and fireworks.  My 7-year-old granddaughter loved dressing up as a pirate – as did my daughters.
I took my manuscript along with me – here’s evidence of high-seas editing!

What have you been reading and watching?

So far this year, I’ve read 14 books, including Louise Penny’s latest Inspector Gamache, A World of Curiosities, and Rhys Bowen’s latest Lady Georgie adventure, Peril in Paris. They are two of my favorite authors and I enjoyed both of them. I also enjoyed John Grisham’s The Boys from Biloxi. I read William Kent Krueger’s Fox Creek. It was the first book of his that I’ve read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I just finished watching The Night Agent on Prime, and it was really good. It kept me on the edge of my seat. We finished 1923, the Yellowstone spin-off. I can’t wait until the next season. It's a cliffhanger, for sure.
