Other Stuff I’ve been Doing.
So far this year, I have attended two book club meetings, and I have another coming up in April. I’ve met some wonderful ladies, had interesting discussions about books and other stuff, and I’ve enjoyed some really great food.
If you’d like me to attend your book club meeting, please contact me at teresamichaelauthor@gmail.com. If you are in the Tampa-Sarasota-Bradenton-Venice areas, I will attend in person. If you are not within driving distance, I am happy to set up a Zoom meeting.
Works in Progress
Murder in the Terrace Room is with the editor, and I should have the edits back in early March. After another revision based on these edits, I hope it will be published soon. That's the writers life -- Revise, Revise, and Revise Again - but it's kind of fun too.
I’ve started a new Harrington House B&B Mystery. The working title is Death Amongst the Roses. After I finish this book, I want to publish a new Mariposa Café Mystery, but I’m having trouble coming up with a title. We have Murder, Deception, and Redemption – what comes after that? Any ideas – let me know.
Travel
Larry and I had the honor of attending our nephew’s wedding at Drumtochy Castle in Aberdeen, Scotland. After, we traveled around the country with Larry’s brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Erin Michael. Scotland is such a beautiful country. I posted a travelogue on my Facebook page. You can read about all the adventures over there and see the beautiful photos. Here’s a taste. For you Outlander fans, here's a photo of Midhope Castle, better known as Lallybroch. I did the Outlander tour from Edinburgh -- loved it!
In January, we went to Tucson to visit Larry’s brother, Patrick, and his wife, Jennifer. The Saguaro National Park is beautiful. We also enjoyed a good Mexican Food, a trip to Tombstone, and Old Tucson.
What have you been reading and watching?
Last year, I read 50 books – here’s a few. What were your favorite books last year?
Recently, I read Martha Reed’s second book in her NOLA series Up Jumped the Devil and then I read Lisa Malice’s debut psychological thriller, Lest She Forget. I enjoyed both books from my fellow Sisters in Crime authors. Right now I'm reading one book from each of the authors on my panel and then I'm putting together questions for the panel discussion.
I just finished watching Expats on Amazon Prime. I enjoyed the series about expats living in Hong Kong, but I didn’t like the ending. I liked seeing Hong Kong. I was there once, but only in the airport.
Rest in Peace Lido Cat.
Until next time – take care.

And if you have a moment and liked my books, please leave a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads. Authors depend on reviews to get the word out about their books. It doesn’t have to be long—just a sentence or two, which is greatly appreciated.
